This particular instrument is an homage to one of the greatest luthier of the early 20 century. It's my version of the famous Chitarra lyra a due bracci one of the most beautiful instrument never made. This instrument have the same tuning that the one use by the multi instrumentalist John Doan: 7 nylon basses tuned from E bass to D one step under the guitar neck and 8 metal treble strings tuned from E at the 12th fret first string to E at the 24th fret. The neck is fully adjustable, like in the original design and have a 25'' scale. I added a graphite bar from tail block to neck block to prevent too much tension on the top.
